I work with adults who are ready to get unstuck, explore their inner world, and maybe even laugh a little (or a lot) along the way. Therapy with me is like a mix of honest conversation, creativity, and the occasional metaphorical treasure hunt — we will sort through the hard stuff without losing our sense of humor doing it. Whether you’re navigating unhealed trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, relationships, or just life’s general tangled-upness, I offer a warm, collaborative space to explore, grow, and reconnect with what makes you you.
I believe that therapy is an invitation to explore life’s challenges and a place where we take your struggles seriously while creating opportunities to incorporate playfulness and curiosity. Expect a mix of warmth, humor, and a willingness to explore parts of yourself that might have been pushed aside (especially the younger ones still carrying big feelings). We will use insight, imagination, and even a little playfulness to untangle old patterns, reconnect with your inner voice, and build new ways of being. This is a collaborative process where all parts of you are welcome and invited in.
Below are just a few examples of issues that can be addressed in therapy:
Is your child having difficulty expressing or handling their emotions or adjusting to a recent change or stressor? Are you having trouble communicating with your child or adolescent? Have you or your family been trying to find answers to your concerns and are looking for a supportive environment to share these concerns while developing a plan using many of the strengths you may already have?
In my work with children, I emphasize the importance of getting to know each child in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them. It is important that I am able to gain a clear understanding of your child’s view of the world to assist them in expressing their experiences in a way that is meaningful and met with patience and connection.

The transition from childhood to adolescence can be a challenging time physically, emotionally, and socially for many teens. While it is normal for teens to experience mood changes and varying emotional states, significant changes in the intensity and duration of emotional issues may interfere with your teen’s functioning across school, community, and home settings. Therapy can provide a supportive environment where your teen can freely express their experiences and emotions, build self-esteem and cope with current life stressors in ways that emphasize your teen’s interests, preferred way of communication, and personal strengths.

Is your family struggling to communicate in a positive way? Does it feel like you and your child are having the same arguments over and over without resolution? Are you experiencing stress related to parenting concerns? Do you desire a closer connection with your child or teen but are unsure about where to start? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, you may benefit from family therapy services.
